Action film director, fighter Art Camacho inducted into USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame

art-camachoThis year World’s greatest martial artists will be honored at the 2013 United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame on July 1, in Phoenix, Arizona.

It seems like famous b-movie action director, actor and fighter Art Camacho will be one of the inductees, as he shared the news himself.

“I have been granted another great honor by being inducted into the USA Martial arts hall of fame this year and the Masters Hall of fame. It is truly a very humbling experience and can’t express the gratitude I feel. I am very blessed and grateful. I hope to see many old friends there and make many new ones. ” Camacho wrote on his FB page.

Camacho noted that being inducted into the hall of fame is rewarding because “many of the greats I looked up to are now my peers and many of my heroes in the martial arts are now my brothers”.

Camacho has a vast experience in the entertainment industry, most recently having produced two Spanish language action films this year (2012): Cage fight and Once upon a fight and was Consulting Producer on “The Jadagrace show” starring Motown legend Barry Gordy’s granddaughter Jadagrace.

The award-winning action film Director/Fight choreographer/stunt performer is mostly know for his work with the most popular 90s action and martial arts stars, such as Don “the Dragon Wilson”, Olivier Gruner, Jeff Wincott, Cynthia Rothrock, Richard Norton and others.
