Scott Adkins: Ninja 2 may have some of the best fight scenes I’ve ever done

ninja-2The sequel to Isaac Florentine’s 2009 action film “Ninja” with Scott Adkins is now being shot, and it seems like the sequel might turn out to be superior to the first film.

Scott Adkins, who reprises his role in the sequel, has recently shared some thoughts on Twitter, praising legendary Sho Kosugi’s son Kane.

“Kane Kosugi is an incredible martial artist, it is a pleasure to work with him,” Adkins said on his Twitter. “Ninja 2 may have some of the best fight scenes I’ve ever done.”

So if you thought Adkins-Florentine duo was great in Undisputed series, wait until “Ninja 2” is released.

In the first film, Scott Adkins starred as “Casey Bowman”, the American Ninja who must protect the ancient armor of the last Koga Ninja in New York from a high-tech rogue Ninja.

“Ninja 2” has been set for release sometime in 2013.

Story of “Ninja 2” follows Casey Bowman (Adkins), whos life of domestic bliss is shattered by a savage act of violence.

Vowing revenge, Bowman tracks the killer from Osaka to Bangkok to Rangoon with the help of a wise and crafty sensei.

Fighting to avenge as well as to survive, Bowman must sharpen his razor-like responses to face his target: sinister drug lord Goro, who is flooding the streets with deadly meth cooked at his remote jungle factory.
