WATCH ONLINE: The Eurovision-2012 documentary

In May, the Azerbaijani capital of Baku hosted the annual 57-th Eurovision Song Contest in the newly built Baky Crystal Hall.

According to the Eurovision rules, the country that wins the contest, also wins the right to host the next contest.

Azerbaijan won the right to host the prestigious European song contest after the victory of Eldar Gasimov and Nigar Jamal (Ell / Nikki) at Eurovision 2011 in Dusseldorf, Germany last May.

Eurovision.Az website has presented a film dedicated to this year’s annual song contest.

The 55-minute documentary titled “The Most Beautiful Show” showcases the most vivid moments of the contest itself, lots of “star footage”, celebrity arrivals, rehearsals, plus interviews with some of the participants.

The film sadly is not entirely in English, yet if you missed this event somehow, this film is a great opportunity just to watch how it all went down, without listening to the – for the most part – useless dialogue.

Reminding that Sweden won the contest in Baku, gaining 372 points for the song “Euphoria”. Russia’s Buranovskie Babushki with song “Party for Everybody” took the second place with 259 points.

MOVIE: The Most Beautiful Show
YEAR: 2012
LANGUAGE: Mixed (Azerbaijani, English, Russian)
